POSITION OVERVIEW
EJT Education Group is searching for an experienced full-time Project Manager, Events. As our events grow in size and impact, the company is seeking a highly organized and creative Project Manager, Events to lead event strategy, planning, and execution from start to finish. This position will oversee the planning and delivery of conferences, workshops, and tour stops that advance the company’s mission. This role requires strong project management experience—preferably with a PMP or CAPM certification—and hands-on expertise in event planning and production. On average, this role will be responsible for managing 20-25 events annually in multiple states that range from 100-500 participants per event.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for all events to include our annual 7-Figure Educator Live and multi-city tour stops.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with marketing, operations, and client teams to ensure successful events.
  • Track event milestones, deliverables, and risks while ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Oversee logistics for multi-city conferences and tour stops  to include venue selection, vendor contracts, AV, travel, and catering.
  • Primary point of contact for the event and is responsible for answering questions and resolving issues that arise over the course of the event.
  • Attend all events and handle “day of” logistics and planning for events.
  • Coordinate with client care and registration teams  on systems, ticketing, and attendee communication.
  • Update Event Databases to capture accurate attendance records, venue information and lessons learned.
  • Develop post-event evaluations and reports to drive improvement for future events.
  • Negotiate contracts with venues, hotels, and service providers.
  • Manage vendor performance and payment schedules to ensure all vendors are paid timely.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams on any event promotion timelines.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all event materials.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS + KNOWLEDGE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • PMP, CAPM, or Event Management Certification (CMP or CSEP) preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in event planning, program coordination, and project management.
  • Proven success managing large-scale events or multi-city tours.
  • Experience in managing event budgets and timelines.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and event platforms
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20–30%).
COMPENSATION & DETAILS
This position is a full-time W2 role with a salary range of $75-85K annually.
  • You’ll work remote primarily and have complete location independence within the United States;
  • Must be willing and able to in person meetings and events
  • You will need to be available during Monday-Friday 9-5 pm EST
  • Must have own computer and reliable access to Wi-Fi, internet, headset, and phone.
